Psychiatry Resident
Simin is a psychiatry resident at UCSF. She completed her medical degree in Germany, where she practiced in pediatric surgery and community-based primary care, and earned her MPH at UC Berkeley. She is also the founder of MYND Health, a digital mental health startup. In the TECH Lab, her research focuses on integrating wearable-derived mental health data into the electronic health record, including a study evaluating dynamic EHR mockups with practicing psychiatrists, with broader interests in digital phenotyping and machine learning for early detection of depression and suicide risk.
